The Return of ZO Facials
Many of you have been asking when we will resume facials at the office. These are medical grade facial treatments that can offer a boost to your current skin care regimen. While some patients enjoy a facial on a monthly basis, others utilize them for special events or other times when a little boost is needed.
First, a little review of ZO Skin Health. We have been offering products from Dr. Obagi since we first opened our practice in 2005. Originally, he offered products under the name OBAGI and transitioned his company to ZO Skin Health in 2007. They continue to offer some of the most innovative, effective, and trusted skin care products in the world.
Our facial protocols are products designed by ZO Skin Health. Unlike traditional spa facials, the foundation of each of the facials we offer is the Stimulator Peel. This is a mild, painless, no downtime chemical peel that provides a refreshed look and feel. This stimulator peel is augmented in a number of other ways to offer a facial that can benefit all skin types. Here are our current offerings.
What we offer is a extensively researched, doctor designed, and medical grade in a relaxing safe and clean environment.
ZO Stimulator Peel – A gentle peel with no downtime to achieve a refreshed look and feel.
ZO Ultra Hydration Peel – Includes the stimulator peel in addition to aloe and hyaluronic acid treatment steps. This is designed to hydrate, restore and calm dry, dehydrated skin.
ZO Brightening Facial -Includes the stimulator peel as well as a ZO brightening mask that is designed to restore skin radiance with a brighter and more luminous glow.
ZO Acne Peel and Sulfur Treatment – Blue light treatment is followed by the Stimulator Peel and a sulfur mask to help temper acne prone skin.
Any of our facials can be augmented by LED Blue or Red light treatment. Blue light helps most with acne. Red light can give an extra boost of radiance. For those who struggle with the under eye area, we utilize Colorscience Hydrogel Eye Treatment to further rejuvenate the eyes.
