Aaron’s Back!

Aaron Santmyire APRN-BC, DNP will rejoin our practice at Appalachian Spring Dermatology from May 21st to August 10th, 2018.  For all of you who have enjoyed a visit with him in the past, he offers a wonderful combination of great bedside manner, skill and knowledge. Of course, I am a little biased because he is also my brother!

Aaron is a Nurse Practitioner, but also has his Doctorate in Nursing.  When not at Appalachian Spring Dermatology, he is a missionary with Assemblies of God World Missions.  Currently, he is serving in Madagascar.  While in Madagascar, Aaron wears many hats.  In addition to leading a team of missionaries in Madagascar, he also serves and supports other missionaries in who are working on other islands in the Indian Ocean.  Of course, he does a significant amount of medical care as well, both on outreaches to outlying areas as well as in the capital city of Antananarivo.

In 2017, Aaron was recognized by the American Nurses Association as one of the top Nurse Practitioners in the country.  

Aaron is well-trained in Dermatology. He has cared for patients in our office in the past during 2011-12 and 2015-16.  For those who are excited to see him, schedule your appointment now, because they are going quickly!
